In order to reduce the emission of nitrogen oxides, HLD retrofitted the existing natural gas boilers with low nitrogen.​Through various tests and type inspections of the boiler, it is shownthat the emission reduction of nitrogen oxide pollutants in the tail gashas reached more than 80%, and its reduced standard emissionconcentration is stably controlled below 30 mg / m³.

In order to reduce waste gas emissions, HLD uses RTO high-efficiency regenerative incinerator to carry out incineration and oxidation treatment of waste gas and oxygen up to 870 ℃. The heat of high-temperature gas during oxidation is "stored" by the regenerator for preheating the newly entered waste gas, which not only reduces the fuel consumption required for temperature rise, but also makes the pollutant removal rate reach more than 99%​

After treatment, the waste water produced by production and living enters the reuse pool, which can be used to supplement the circulating water of the cooling tower. The reuse rate of reclaimed water reaches more than 80%, and the annual fresh water saving reaches 150000 to 200000 tons.
